Carey was a top fashion model who stands at nearly 5'10" was well-liked by American fashion designers such as Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Her father was an eminent scientist and was awarded the title of Scientist in 1979 by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey was educated all over the planet due to the work of her father. When she was a student at in the University of Colorado, Carey started modeling for a side. The Ford's model agency located in New York noticed her and offered to help. Following her move to France in the summer of 1999, where she was a resident in Paris, Bordeaux and New York, she decided to return home to New York and continue her education. Then, Vogue, Glamour and various other magazines were featured on their cover. While modeling, she also studied at New York University full-time to earn a master's degree in literature. Following a few years, she developed an passion for acting. She attended the Neighborhood Playhouse New York. Her acting debut came through a tiny part in the film 'Club Paradise" in 1986, starring Robin Williams. In her spare time she loves skiing or windsurfing. She also enjoys climbing mountains as well as whitewater river rafting.
